I don't know if you have seen this yet, but microsoft announced the launch of the xbox 360 "elite". see it here http://www.xbox.com/en-US/hardware/xbox360elite/default.htm. i guess it's not a bad deal if you don't already have a 360 and you have an hd tv. it's pretty much the same as the $400 system but you get 100 extra gigs, and an hdmi cable instead of component cables. seeing as i don't have an hdtv or the desire to own another xbox console, plus the wii kicks ass, i don't think i am going to pick this one up.
But, if anyone out there does, let me know how that goes.
